Synopsis

Norman (Paddy Considine) and Lucy (Virginie Ledoyen), a young married couple visit their friend Paul (Gary Oldman), who has married Isabel (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón) in the Basque region of Spain. Hidden away in the middle of a forest, and very much off the beaten track, the house seems ideal for some peaceful holidays. While out hunting, the two men come across an abandoned house and discover a deformed, animalistic girl chained inside. They try to help her by taking her away from the home in which she is locked, but the local villagers, who have to protect the girl, start a pursuit in the forest they know much better than the visitors.
