Joel Schumacher has met with great commercial success throughout the years. His credits include St. Elmo’s Fire, The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Falling Down, The Client, 8MM, Flawless, Tigerland and, most unfortunately, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Though he works entirely in the mainstream, Schumacher has managed to insert homoeroticism in almost all of his major cineplex work.
