One of today's most beautiful actresses (she played Dorothy Dandridge after all, and was first runner up in the 1986 Miss USA pageant) won her Oscar® by getting dirty as the down-and-out widowed mother in Monster's Ball. We love her glamour roles even more, be it Storm in X-Men, Jinx in Die Another Day, or even vamping it up as Catwoman... a movie that few other actresses would have survived. Berry had the humility to pick up her Razzie for that role in person. She's the first (and thus far only) woman of African-American descent to win a Best Actress Oscar®.
