Synopsis

Emmy-award winning filmmaker Gayle Kirschenbaum is obsessed with her dog Chelsea, a 13-pound Shih Tzu that she refers to as her "dog-ter". Determined to make the cute canine a star, Kirschenbaum strapped a camera to Chelsea and captured footage of her pet's travels around post-9/11 New York City. From providing a pick-me-up to victims' families to a romantic flirtation with a neighboring Shih Tzu, Chelsea's adventures are sweetly entertaining. Includes a cameo of Albert Maysles (Grey Gardens), who shot a portion of the film.
